Capture your legacy.

Extended family portraits truly are some of the greatest keepsakes you will pass on for generations. They are the perfect way of keeping your family and your stories alive. These images will allow future generations to literally see into the past and learn about their family that came before them. Keep your legacy alive for years to come.

If you're looking for me to photograph just the extended family groupings, skip step 2 and scroll down to see what shots are included. Want to create more groupings outside of what is offered in the extended groupings? See step 2!

Step 2

Kind words

Miles Family

"Mari was amazing! We had a very large group of 27 people. She was able to calm the little children and make them smile, and she adapted to all the different family requests. She took the time to focus on the right positions and angles in order to make the pose natural and flattering at the same time. She was very communicative and responsive in her emails and phone calls, and was flexible in her availability. I plan on using her for future family photos!"

FAQ

What are the steps to book you?

Get in touch with me through my contact form and let me know what I can do for you. You can expect to hear from me within 3 business days after sending your inquiry. I will respond with a message to get to know you, get more detailed information about what you're looking for, and what you can expect from me moving forward. To officially book your session, you will need to put down your deposit and signed agreement form. From there, we will discuss potential dates, location, outfits, etc. and get all the details nailed down.

How long does it take to get our photos delivered?

Your images will be delivered via email through a beautiful personal online gallery. You can expect to see it in your inbox 2-4 weeks after the session.

What recommendations do you have for clothing choices?

I always love a soft neutral palette! Muted colors photograph really well and look great year round. Creams, whites, tans, and you can add colors such as subtle blush tones, muted sage, etc. As for patterns, stick to patterns that are less busy, and only have a couple patters in the entire group mixed in with solids. Inquire with me for a more detailed outfit guide!

Do you have any tips for kids with very little attention span?

Yup. I totally bring the bribes. My typical go-to for bribes are smartees or mini marshmellows during the session, and then bring out the dum-dums at the very end. You're more than welcome to bring your own ammo as well, but please bring treats that dissolve quickly and/or do not leave colors on their mouths and tongue. Also, its very important to try not to mention bribes to the kids until we are running out of tricks. Once the kids hear there are treats, there's usually nothing else on their minds except the sugar! So again, I'll be sure to let the kids know "I have a surprise for them" and that typically keeps their attention on me.

Do you travel?

Yes! Travel fees may apply for any session North of Bountiful, East of Park City, South of Provo, or West of The Great Saltair. Inquire with me for out of state travel information.

Do you offer prints?

Yes! You will have access to my print shop with beautiful high quality products. The print shop is directly connected to your gallery, so ordering prints and getting them to your doorstep is a breeze!

Can we print our own images?

Of course! You will receive the print release along with the gallery and are free to print them at your own leisure for your own personal use. The only downside to printing on your own is that I am not able to monitor which lab or print shop you choose, and different shops have different color calibrations so the colors and contrast of the images might be slightly off. I highly recommend taking your prints to a professional lab, and I'm happy to give you names of local shops. To guarantee the quality of your images, browse my print shop and look through all the gorgeous product options to choose from.
